We donated a simple website which we built on Wordpress and added advocacy tools. These advocacy tools included an online petition, a tool that allowed supporters to flood the city council with objections via email, donation resources, and the ability to join an email list (which was used as a social organizing tool).
However you want to define it the philosophy is simple– Be honest about your brand, be honest about your core beliefs and be honest about your capabilities.
