Cooking is a passion of mine and Duluth Dish is an experiment to gain first hand knowledge of ad supported hyper-local media.

Over 2 weeks I designed this site, added listings for over 300 area restaurants and began writing. Over the past 6 months I’ve recruited area experts as contributors and a former food writer from the local paper has kindly joined the effort. The site was built for search optimization. After just 5 months it is attracting around 200 visitors (locals and tourists) to the site daily making ad sales viable.
