Meyer Group: Firm Overview
Meyer Group, P.A. is a multi-disciplinary resource and service-based architectural firm. Through our progressive and forward-thinking planning and design process, we provide superior quality, and responsible and environmentally sound design solutions for a range of projects. All aspects of our business are centered on building responsive relationships with our clients.
Meyer Group fills a special niche in the architectural community. Founded by Timothy Meyer, AIA, CID, LEED AP, our business has grown from his vast experience in government, commercial, educational, and tribal architecture. An unparalleled level of commitment to our clients and a deep sense of investment in each project we undertake are at the foundation of our group’s approach. With a talented, seasoned, and enthusiastic staff, we extend a unique brand of design to meet the needs of each of our clients.
Our work doesn’t end when we sign off on drawings, or even when the last coat of paint is applied to the inside of a sparkling new building—we provide resources to clients that extend beyond design and architecture, and we focus on providing long-term service. When we partner with a client, we create a lasting relationship rooted in our tenets of responsiveness and respect.
The importance of respecting our clients is paralleled by our efforts to create designs that also respect the environment. We incorporate the use of rapidly renewable and recycled materials to create value-added designs with an eye to being friendly to the natural environment. This emphasis is critical in our efforts to exercise responsibility toward our clients and communities.

About SAS Associates
SAS Associates competently handles large-to small-scale projects. Melding the personal service and responsiveness of a small firm with the sophisticated design and management capabilities of much larger firms, we’re able to offer our clients superior results and a wealth of professional experience.
Our modest size belies the scope and complexity of projects we’ve been involved with. Luke Sydow has managed numerous projects in complex regulatory settings, working with many subconsultants under budgets exceeding ten million dollars.
We attribute our outstanding capabilities to our highly motivated and creative staff who bring an exceptional depth and breadth of experience to projects. Each member of the firm has specialized expertise– from facilitating public input to urban design, construction detailing, and site and parks master planning. We maintain working relationships with many local engineering and architectural firms, allowing us to draw upon their resources to provide our clients with a finished product commensurate with their expectations.

IT’S .COMING! THEDUSU.COM OFFICIAL LAUNCH
Official Launch and Events, Sept. 14-18
DULUTH, MN – What’s Your DuSu?
The community has a new resource dedicated to attracting and retaining young adults in the Twin Ports. TheDuSu.com, which was developed by 3FIVE Designs and is the result of the Community Foundation’s Attracting and Retaining Young Adult Task Force, with additional aid from the A.H. Zeppa Foundation, is the leading resource for 18-35 year olds on working, living, playing and connecting in the Twin Ports. In addition to being a place for young people to voice their thoughts, ideas and opinions, TheDuSu.com also embraces all that’s authentic in the Twin Ports.
The final site, which is currently in beta testing, will be released following a week of activities ending with a launch party at Rice’s Point on September 18. “We wanted the launch to focus on bridging Duluth and Superior,” Martin Sawinski, owner of 3FIVE Designs said. “Besides Rice’s Point being a unique space, it really symbolizes the mission of the website in bridging the gaps for young people in this community.” Rice’s Point is the spot at which Duluth and Superior are geographically closest to one another.
In addition to the launch party, the site is sponsoring music and arts events, contests, college campus activities, and a range of unique and exciting interactive opportunities for involvement with the site, throughout the first half of September. For a complete listing of events, visit: TheDuSu.com.
